Founder (1993), CEO and Chairman of the Hyperion Systems Engineering Group – a globally operating technology group with more than 25 years of worldwide experience providing business, technology, equipment, and engineering advisory, consulting, and implementation of advanced solutions in the hydrocarbons, chemicals, and power generation industries.
Symeon Kassianides has several years of service as Board Member on government and private companies and has acted as a mentor to several Start-ups. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Natural Gas Public Company (DEFA, 2017 to 2021) and as founding Chairman of the Cyprus Natural Gas Infrastructure Public Company (ETYFA, 2018-2021).
Symeon served as a member of the GIAC (Gas Industry Advisory Committee) of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF), a member of MEDGIO (Mediterranean Gas Infrastructure Operators Group), and the European Network for Transition Systems Operators for Gas (ENSOG) and is in the United Nations Economic Committee for Europe (UNECE) Gas Experts Group.
Received a B.Sc, in Chemical Engineering from MIT (1987, USA) and my PhD and DIC in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London (1991, UK).
