Director, FML Ship Management
Mr. Kapoor is the Director of FML Ship Management Limited in Cyprus, part of Fleet Management Ltd Hong Kong.
Mr Kapoor shifted to Cyprus in 2007 and set up the FML Cyprus. Fleet Cyprus is operating about 42 vessels under full Technical Management and employs about 40 staff in the Nicosia office.
Mr. Kapoor joined Fleet Management in Hong Kong in the year 1996 as a Superintendent and gradually rose to his present rank of General Manager - Technical. He completed his Marine Engineering from India in 1981. He sailed on board the ships for 12 years and rose to the position of Chief Engineer before taking shore assignment.
During his tenure in Hong Kong , he was actively involved in all aspects of Technical Management. He also spent time in Japan and Korea where he was part of the New Ship Building Supervision team and assisted in building of Reefers / Containers / Chemical Tankers.
