H.E. Mohamed Saif Helal Al Shehhi's extensive diplomatic career includes serving as the UAE Ambassador to Canada from 2012 to 2017, where he also became the Dean of the Council of Arab League Ambassadors. His other significant roles include Director of the European Affairs Department (2020-2023) and Director of the United Nations Department (2019-2020) at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous international negotiations and held various positions in embassies in Paris, Rome, and Geneva.

He has been recognized with several certificates of appreciation, notably from H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.E. Zaki Nusseibeh, for his contributions to UAE's diplomatic efforts.

H.E. Mohamed Saif Helal Al Shehhi holds a BSc in International Relations and Translation from Strasbourg University in France. He is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
