Business Advisor, former Minister of Transport, Communications and Works
Marios Demetriades is an experienced professional in the areas of Financial Services, Transport, and Infrastructure. He is currently involved in some private investments as an investor and manager while he is also serving as Board member in companies like FxPro including its startup Digital Bank BnkPro.
Over the years, he has acquired significant experience in Capital Markets as an Investment Professional working for various Banks. He has also served as the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works of the Republic of Cyprus responsible for a major part of the Cyprus economy. During his term as a Minister, he completed the privatization of the Cyprus ports and opened up the Aviation sector resulting in more than 40% increase in traffic.
