He studied Economics at the London School of Economics and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA). Iacovos has been providing a diverse spectrum of advisory and assurance services to clients (governmental, semi- governmental and private) over his career with KPMG that spans over 20 years. Such services include regulatory assistance/compliance, forensic investigations, business performance improvement and corporate governance matters.
The focus on the energy sector aims to gain horizontal expertise in the main issues and challenges that characterize it at any given time and develop this understanding to effectively carry out projects related to the energy sector. Iacovos has undertaken numerous
engagements in various jurisdictions in Europe and the Middle East. He has published various articles and provided presentations to market participants in international conferences.
