Antonia Michael is the General Manager of IBM in Cyprus. She graduated with
distinction in Computer Science B.Sc. and Information Technology M.Sc. Antonia
holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College - University of London
and has performed research in AI at Imperial College and at the University of
Cyprus. She has a number of publications and presentations in scientific journals
and conferences around AI.
She has worked for IBM Greece and IBM Cyprus for over 20 years in the
Business Consulting Services division, where she served in several senior
positions and as the Cyprus Global Business Services Leader for six years. She
has extensive experience and skills in IT transformation and digitization,
business IT consulting, project and people management, with in-depth Industry
knowledge in Healthcare, Banking and the Government sectors. Antonia also
holds the professional certification for project management (PMP) and is a
member of PMI since 2011. She is a Board Member of CITEA, OEB/KEBE and
the American Chamber (AmCham), representing IBM Cyprus.
