Johny Abuaitah holds a BSc. in Accounting and Computing from Leicester University and a MSc. Degree in Business Systems Analysis from City University in the UK. Together with his father, Nicolas Abuaitah, they established Windsor in 1988.
He joined Windsor as a Financial Dealer and carried extensive research on using mathematical models in analyzing currencies and commodities price movement.
In the 1990s, he was one of the first Financial Dealers in the MENA region to build and use digital mathematical formulas that provide signals for entering and exiting financial markets. He also published a daily newsletter that provided analysis and recommendations on major world currencies.
In 1994, Mr. Abuaitah became the Managing Director of Windsor with the aim to create a structured financial organization that would offer first-class trading services to investors in the MENA region.
The Company was the first Cypriot Investment Firm of its type to be licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus, and by 2004, it was regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. This allowed Windsor to expand its operations, products and services in Cyprus and internationally.
Mr. Johny Abuaitah was one of the pioneers in online trading and due to his interest, Windsor was the first broker to offer the renowned Metatrader platform – MT3
In November 2007, Windsor celebrated the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Windsor Business Center, located in the heart of Limassol, Cyprus.
Mr. Abuaitah's experience and financial background were the vital stepping stones for Windsor's highly reputable and successful development.
