Mrs. El Hajal was appointed Ambassador of Lebanon to Cyprus in November 2017. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Administrative and Political science. During her professional political career she was appointed Secretary in the Embassy of Lebanon in Jordan. Later she held a position of Charge d'Affairs in Embassy of Lebanon in Serbia, worked as a Counselor in Embassy of Lebanon in Egypt, in 2013 she was appointed Ambassador of Lebanon to Ukraine. Mrs. Claude El Hajal speaks Arabic, French and English languages. She has been a guest at a number of cultural, economical and political congresses during the tenures and took active part in the preparation of the Francophonie Summit in Lebanon in 2002.
